Summary

This is the easiest type of investigation that schoolchildren learn to write. The essence of the job is to collect materials on a particular topic and retell it. The summary helps develop the skills to search, record, analyze, systematize, classify and generalize information.

Nothing else is required in this thesis, such as hypothesis or research.

Abstracts are reviews, methodological, informative, bibliographic, polemic, etc. Abstracts are written not only by high school students but also by undergraduate and graduate students.

Essay

For many, this type of research and development appears to be one of the most difficult due to the creative nature of the work.

In the context of an essay, the author demonstrates that he knows the material so well that he can represent his well-founded position based on the source.

Project

Student thesis

The first serious research paper at the university. There are 5 types of final work: reports, calculation and graphics, integrated, research, project work.

The study work always has a clear structure; it consists of theoretical and practical parts (sometimes only theoretical). It shows how the student applies the knowledge acquired in practice.

The course has strict design requirements. Depending on the university and subject area, academic achievements must be protected. Often the theme developed in course work is continued in work in the WRC.

Diploma

Thesis for the doctoral student. It shows the level of knowledge and skills acquired during the training. In this work, the student examines a specific topic, makes a hypothesis, conducts research.

R&D in graduate school

For those who continue their studies in graduate school, the next research paper is the candidate’s thesis. Also, a PhD student writes a different type of research paper as a scientific article.

Why do students write R&D?

R&D, research work, help students develop research skills, work with information, conduct research, and present scientific work to them. Resumes involve writing at least one type of research and development. Number, themes and forms depending on the subject and thematic area.
